Story
Helen embarks on a passionate affair with a man who has no idea of her secret identity. Caught in the crosshairs when her lover falls victim to London’s dangerous underworld, Helen’s employer enlists Sam to protect her. Bingo, the owner of the guitar shop where Sam gets his guns, is played by Rat Scabies, a member of classic punk band The Damned.
It starts off well

This is one of those run-of-the-mill entertainments where you can’t really fault the acting and the production values are pretty much flawless. You think you’re about to be sucked in and seduced by a complex spy thriller.
But this is no John Le Carré
Instead, it quickly becomes clear that it is neither serious nor funny. As is often the case these days, it is the poverty of the story that is the problem. There are eccentric characters and indeed characters with all the charm and conversational wit you expect from psychopaths.

They might be related to Eve from Killing Eve, but they are poor cousins and don’t really add up well on the scale of psychopathic DNA heredity. It is a cartoon caricature of a spy thriller with a script that relies on a thin plot and frequent action scenes to fill the spaces. Sadly disappointing, it could have been really good… “One Hundred Years of Solitude” is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres of this month.
