Many aspects of this series are well done. But I found it uncomfortable. There were many things about the script, direction and acting that seemed odd. Sometimes it was even embarrassing. I shook my head at how incomplete and sloppy some of the dialogue seemed. Because of this, the connections in the story were incomplete and lacked depth. I feel like I should have warm feelings for most of the characters, but I didn’t. I understand ways to make audiences uncomfortable, but this is different. If it was intentional, it was messed up in execution. If this is a new style movie, I think it will succeed.
